Limit Order
An order to buy or sell a cryptocurrency at a specific price or better. Your trade only executes when the market reaches your target price. Limit orders give you control over the price you pay but there is no guarantee the order will fill if the price never reaches your level.
Example
He placed a limit order to buy Bitcoin at $55,000, and it filled two days later when the price dipped.
