Bridge

A protocol that allows you to move cryptocurrency between different blockchains. For example, if you have ETH on Ethereum but want to use it on Polygon, a bridge makes that transfer possible. Bridges are essential for cross-chain interoperability but have been frequent targets of hacks.

She used a bridge to move her USDC from Ethereum to Arbitrum to save on gas fees.
